Why don't they tell you when your MOT is due? I thought mine was mid November until the other day I checked the certificate and it turns out it was due 3 weeks ago :annoyed:
So I'm guess the car is not currently road legal, but will they be fining me, crushing the car or throwing my @ss in jail??!

Second part of this question: does anyone know of an MOT centre in West Yorks who will fit my CAT, test the car, then refit the decat?

yorkshire ram's papa

i'll try to make an appearance, if the s13 woooos the MOT fella!

you'd think I could guarantee an MOT ticket, considering ma papa owns the place :wack: :D .. think that the emissions analyser might accidentally be put up the wrong exhaust pipe.... ;) heh heh.

Hmmm. My MOT's due pretty soon too. Yer pa want any extra business throwing his way (assuming his place is in w.yorks somewhere)?

As for Mascrat, I'll be there so long as I don't get drunk on the way.

As you knew already ;)

You know me better than I know myself. Must have been during one of my blackouts! Seriously can't remember that conversation.

He might be called Yorkshire Ram but that garage is near Lancaster. It could be worth a blat up the A59 next Saturday I suppose... Something a bit nearer would be helpful though!

Last Mascrat thread ;) I only remember it as I had just had my MOT and the Cat re-fitting was a bitch. Did laugh when I saw you posted in the same one. Good luck with finding a garage.

This might sound a bit daft...but why don't you just refit the cat yourself, get it MOT'd and then swap it back? Shouldn't take more than an hour each time
