Before I bought my 200SX (S14) about 18months ago I read a review which said that it's mainly driven by old men so insurance is quite low. Now I get the impression that it's popularity has exploded now performance car fans have discovered it.

I think this is good news for those of us that already have one because their resale value will be higher. What do you think?

People that i have been taking to seem to reckon that second hand prices are slightyl on the rise, which is by no means a bad thing :)

Dont know about only being driven by old men though, i sware i've seen some old women aswell

I think one of the main problems is snobishness. No matter how good a Nissan is it just is has not got the image of say an Alfa GTV, Fiat Coupe, BMW coupe etc. Which is a good thing in my opinion as most of the above seem to be driven by some right to55ers.

DL,

Know what you mean about looks and Image. In your opinion what car holds a image status? I think the TT gives me the impression that there is a "trendy" driving it.

I think you are spot on about the TT. The sort of people I see driving them tend to be not very interested in cars and more in fashion and poncing about.
