Right i have recently discovered the art of downloading things namely movies and music, now my question to you guy's is wheres best to go for the best quality stuff???

For movies i use winmx but the quality is a little ****e, i've downloaded many different versions from different users and there all pretty naff and if you do find a good copy the bastids cut you off?!!:eek:

Any info greatly appreciated?!!;)

I used to use Winmx for audio though not all tracks I wanted were available, but since i started using Audiogalaxy.com I have yet to find one of my searches unavailable. As for films...as i am on a connection of 45.2kps at best ( Std BT cack ) I don't bother. It would take me 10 mins to get a 10 sec porn clip :D:D:D

Surely you mean 4.52 K/s or 45,200 bps ? Because 45k a sec would be quite quick :)

I am on winmx and have all the latest movies, Blade 2,Resident Evil,Ali G Indahouse ect do an audio anybitrate search for ninjadude and you will find me send me a message to let me know who you are and I will start you:D :D

Best place to get movies is through IRC. I get a minimum of 45k a second for VCDs and they are all 0-day

Most convenient: Kazaa - have found a load of stuff and set it to go. Come back a day or two later and my hard disk has a few gigabytes less space free.

IRC's ok, used to get buffy episodes constantly from it. However found Kazaa to be somewhat less hassle.

Do NOT download the latest Morpheus software, its the preview version and it is bugged to hell. On my machine it pretty much takes the whole thing down after about 10 minutes, added to the fact that the new search engine they are using is just crap compared to the Kazaa engine they used before.

Kazaa also has certain 'problems'. Do a search for Kazaa and spyware and see what is wrong with it. There is Kazaa lite which doesnt use the same spyware but its tricky to track down.
