Will the post office accept a scanned/faxed/photocopied MOT certificate when issuing road tax?

I gotta sell my kit car but my insurance has expired. I can get it towed to the garage to get an MOT but I wont be able to get road tax.

Dammit! I don't want to send some tyre kicker my MOT certificate just because he's fannying around saying he might possibly consider thinking about buying my car. I'm so glad I'm not a car salesman.

Could well be stuffing your new goose up yer arse before shooting the crap out of it. :)

What an odd scenario it is that is being built here.

er... they want the original, plus you need a valid Certificate of Insurance too (check your renewal info). So that will solve your problem of not being able to get it to the garage. :)

And everything above about PO staff is correct. :/
