Nah mate the Que was huuuuuuuge when we got there so we all said sod it lol
Saw you with the bonet up at about 4:00 everything ok ?
retarding the timing and lowering the boost abit.
it ran like a bag of shite on my 3 runs and the only place i could test my changes was on the strip  :annoyed:
best i could muster was 14.6 @ 103mph. the terminal speed is respectable
there was an S14a i got on video. looked just like yours. ran a 14.8, so i was guessing it wasn't you ;)
you should have come over to say hi. i didn't see any of you welsh lads all day

Hey escy. Im gonna have to see your car some time soon. Sounds like its come a long way since i saw it last.
I had some good news the other day. A friend of mine looked at my car and assures me its fixable without new panels and jigging. So hopefully its gonna cost me less than i expected and should be fixed a lot sooner aswell.
Hopefully i can make it to the next meet (not in the sx though)
I didn't even realise you were up there mate!
Good luck with repairing the car Muttley mate - would be a shame for her to go to the big scrap yard in the sky!

Escy mate everytime we were looking around you were elsewhere lol
I was parked about 10 feet from you when you had the bonet up alongside the flip painted skyline !
And that terminal is respectable what was the problem then ? Traction ?
i was getting wheel spin through 1st, some in second and a little on 3rd too.
i think the problem was more down to me timing my gearchanges when i heard det rather than concentrating on the driving. also, my launches were a bit pussy and i was changing at 6k in 1st because i wasn't sure if it'd det (as it was wheelspinning as the boost kicked in).
i've got the bug now. i'll be back and will want to hit a 13 second run.
is Santa Pod the closest drag strip as its a long way away, i did nearly £70 on petrol :(
Ben, next time i see you mate, i'll take you out for a spin. hope yours can get sorted on the cheap  has your dad paid up for the front end he mashed yet? :smash:
