That's nifty.

The funny thing is that he doesn't even look as if he's trying until they show some of the steering-work being done towards the end of the video!

One thing I would say about drifting that I don't like it when people feint/ flick from side-to-side too much on the straights. But that's just a random comment anyway... I can't drift at all. :(

I can power-over but that's about it!

What's he driving?

As Lee said. Its a 2 door levin.

You can get a 2 door Levin and a 2 door Trueno. You can also get a 3 door Levin and a 3 door Trueno. The 3 door has a hatch and the 2 door has a boot. They are the same cars virtually... "AE86" isnt the engine, its the beginning of the chassis code and they are called AE86 or "86" as a nick name for them, much like S13 and stuff.

See Jay, this is what Initial D does to people ;)

It's a ex-works GRP A TRD rally car. I have to say ol Fred was a smashin guy (When I met him at Silverstone, Rnd 3). :thumbs:

From what I hear, he was pretty impressive the next day @ wheels.

(Now.... how do I persuade Tommi Mak as guest drifter) :notworthy

Great to hear that you guys like the video. It was shot the week after the first Eurodrift event at Birmingham Wheels. It was great fun making it. I drifted consantly for five hours while the guys ran around with the cameras to get as many angles as possible :D
