fitting bigger injectors after mapping

Hi Gary,

you mapped my S14a at the end of August, if you remember i had an HKS SAFR...

well sod's law says it looks like i might be fitting larger injectors (480's from an S15). I know it will need re-mapping but can i drive it with the new injectors up to such time i can get it remapped.

what's the likely effect? Obviously i don't want to run it lean and give myself a problem but i'm hopping that going from 370's to 480's won't have too much effect other than reduce the duty cycle...

still looking for some advice on this although they may end up as 440 injectors. You'll get the remapping work (promise).

hi mate

you cant fit injectors and drive on them till its mapped close or it will over fuel

i recon if you do think about changing injectors then nismo ones would be the ones to go for and also perhaps an apexi AFC2 as well so you can keep a close eye on the knock figures

so you would reccommend the SAFC2 over the HKS SAFR?

only from the view it has knock readings that work very well and are good to watch as protection
