Got several well used 17" (205, 225 width, 45 profile I think) Pirelli P6000 tyres to give away if anyone wants them.
Great for drifting on or making nice plant holders, swings, smoky bonfires etc.
Just need to collect or pay for delivery (Basingstoke area).
Anyone interested?

I really need as many tyres as I can get :D :wack: How much would it be for delivery? If not could you wait to have them picked up until the weekend after this. Thanks :thumbs:

We've got a van, so delivery won't be that much as long as we can find the time :D
If you are going to any events over the next coupe of weeks we may very well be there anyway (except I don't know of any drifting events apart from Silverstone next Sunday :rolleyes: )

Ill have a couple of 225/45/27s if youhave them spare... I like the P6000s aswell - what Im using this weekend at D1 :).

Do they scrape the wheelarches at all?
I'll have a look down the local tractor tyre depot for some rears off a New Holland Plough-Master for you! :D

Are you going to Silverstone? If so, that would be perfect. If not, how much would you charge to meet me halfway? I live in Bromley, Kent. Or if not I can just come down to Basingstoke. Many thanks mate.

Might be able to arrange a visit to Silverstone - have to let you all know later tonight/tomorrow.
There might have to be a nominal charge of a few quid per tyre to cover the van and someone to bring them up as I'm not planning to be there myself (unless I get my dashboard back in, brakes done and get an entry sorted by then).

Ill have as many as I can fit in the S14 on a trip over too :D
ohh these seem to be popular...
They vary on tread as you'd expect but on the whole they have gone on the shoulders and close to the wear bars everywhere else, so borderng on legal not not much better than that.
They are currently residing in a garage in Basingstoke and there may be more available from my source from time to time. I think we've got about 10 there at the moment.
Still thinking about going on Sunday so hold on for a bit and I'll get back to you all today.

Right then, here's the deal.
I know it said free tyres originally but...
Basically, we need to clear the tyres we've got now from the garage 'cause the owner of the garage needs the space pronto.
We can't get access to the garage until Sunday morning, but I can get them up to D1 at Silverstone later in the morning. In order to do this, the guy bringing them will want paying.
So give me an idea of what you are prepared to pay and they'll be there if van man is happy with the deal.
Needless to say, it will be cash only!
We've got about 15 tyres in all.
There will be more available in a couple of weeks for anyone who can't get up to Silverstone.
Im not willing to pay for anything with less than 4mm of tread John....

I cant pick anything up from Silverstone myself. The car will already be loaded with tyres, wheels, tools, race suit etc etc.
Im still happy to come and collect some next week if they are free though :)

If enough people are willing to pay something, then he'll turn up and you can negotiate prices. From memory, some of them weren't too bad, but I would say they are more like 2-3mm.
Ill give you £5 each but only for the better ones

Well if you let me know when I can come down (nxt weekend would be useful) I would love to take four off your hands (six or eight if you have them and no-one else wants them) Just let me know when is convenient.
