Hi guys,

Just wonderd if anyone would be interested in a little project. I was thinking we could maybe make a 2nd hungry hund y to take to various events around the area.

I've got access to a large garage with many many tools inc welding equipment, compressor & the like.

I've also got a shell of a smashed up 200 that would be ideal for the conversion.

So who would be up for it?

This would require quite a lot of time & effort.

lol, then we could have a cook-off between BBQ's :D

Can we do a front one?

Sounds like a plan - not sure how much help I'll be but I'm up for it and only just down the road.

It would be a good back up for Mascrat for when Vez says there'll be a barbecue and there isn't. :p

Greg, we've already got a barbaque... can we do my idea and make something that was sorely missing from Billing and would be very usefull... lets turn a car into a fridge

can call it an ICE car and take the piss when people try and find the speakers :D

how about using the engine bay of the hungry hund y, weld it up and fill it with ice as a beer fridge?

ummm, the hungry H undy doesn't have an engine bay.... its been cut in half so only the back seats are still in.

you're always picking holes in my ideas :wack:

ok then i'll come up with a different plan - one that doesn't rely on non-existent engine bays....

Good idea :) But as said, using the engine bay this time would be cool - at large events, we could have them sat against each other - making a full car again :D

Not wanting to be Mr Party Pooper here but where would you get all the ice from and how would you get it to the event? And could the chassis support all that weight? You know them refridgeration units on the top of vans, well perhaps you could get one of those, install it in the cabin then insulate the engine bay to use as the 'cold box'. Then again, you're not looking to keep sides of beef frozen for 3 weeks so perhaps I'm mentally over-engineering?!

LOL, ermmm, tis a fridge we need not an industrial freezer :D

could prob. do it by ripping a couple of refridgeration units out of some old fridges and wacking em up with plenty of insulation inside car
