Gary,

Can I book some time to have my car checked over?
I went to Power Engineering today for a rolling road test (was a scooby meet, but I tagged along with a couple of friends) and the result was shocking. I only got 243bhp @ flywheel with 219 ft/lb torque, both very high up in the rev-range. Looking at other peeps cars, it appears that I should have got nearer 270bhp with 280+ ft/lb torque.

The car feels quick to drive, and has been excellent since you mapped the SAFC-II a few months ago, but something tells me that I need it looked at, because the RR result was way too low.

Here's the RR graph

Cheers mate, I'll give you a call Monday.

The figure on the graph was deffo @ flywheel. There was a scooby there that showed just over 500bhp  I can't imagine that was at the wheels

I thought about it afterwards, and I should have got them to leave the car running so that I could check the figures on the AVC-R. It might have been that he didn't give it full beans, which might explain why the car sounded so quiet - honestly, I could hardly hear it running, whereas my mate's scooby was loud as feck.
