Well i would have thought that the show will kick off at about 10:00

And it's going to take around 3 1/2 hours to get there !

So if we leave Swansea at about 6:30 that would mean meeting up in J33 for around 7:00 and away we go.

Have you any idea of what time the show kicks off ?

Well it has held since last night (blew off again lol)

Went over the edges with sandpaper then put some insulation tape around it.

If it pops off again im going to put the res box back in and give up for now lol.

Nick the pod on 3 1/2 hrs!! at the very best if traffic goes for you!!! Took me 5 hrs to get to USC and 4 1/2 back

Sure I have told you once before, get two nice thick rubber bands put them over each end of the pipe, mate it to the main pipe each end and tighten jubile clips up full welly it'll never come off again, listen to someone who has been there been in dispare and found a way around the old poping the res pipe everytime I get in a race!!

bit off topic, what type of pipe are you having problems with? intercooler sounds like. i can weld both aluminum and steel, but have not been signed off yet here at university workshop. But when I do I'll let you guys know.

Its this Sunday, but I think a few are going up Saturday and staying in a cheap hotel to save messing about leaving 5am Sunday morning.

Santa Pod (in Northamptonshire I believe) is one of the few real drag racing tracks in this country. The day is organised by Japanese Performance magazine and various car clubs will have stands there (including this one). AFAIK its just like a "run what you brung" day so anyone can have a run. Should be good if its not pissing down with rain..

The hotell we are booked in has a bar and I do belive that if you are a guest (we can wing that one buy buying drinks on the room lol) the bar stays open till we leave it lol.

Alternatively we will probably be going out for a curry and that means we can have a drink in there aslo.

I got home with slightly less trouble than I had getting down. Even managed to average 30mpg doing 80mph all the way home! :eek: First time I've been over 30mpg!!!

Big thanks to you all for making me feel welcome, it was really good to meet you all. If you ever decide on a visit to Edinburgh (stag do, festival, 24 hour drinking....) it would be a pleasure to show you round.
