View Full Version : Drifting terminology
I think Pazza posted a link to an excellent description of different drifting terms for types of drift. I can't find a link to it though...
Anyone got any decent links?
the only one i know mate, is "doing a Jason" but I think he is getting a bit sensitive over that :D
have you asked on driftworks?
yea that means to perform an excellent drift
stoofing it (into gravel)

Once you have perfected the technique you are then known as a GravelMeister :D

Would that be similar to 'doing a Nick' ie spinning into the gravel and getting stuck, only to get dug out so that on the very next corner you spin into the gravel and get stuck again. :D

I think there are about 3 drivers who will qualify for the GravelMeister :notworthy qualifications. I sha'nt name names as it'll encourage others who have not yet qualified to try & gain the ranking by misdemeanor as opposed to to pure skill.
For those who are thinking of going for the Gravelmeister :notworthy a single events worth does not qualify, it is the collective of peadashings over several events that allows you to qualify.
hey! I havent been in the gravel for my last 2 outings, whats this all about?
