Anyone got an engine crane i can borrow

I need to get the engine out of my car so i can sort the crank/shells and finish welding the chassis. I don't suppose there's anyone local who could loan me one for a few hours?

I just had a thought. The guy who would do all the horrid jobs on my S13 (if you didnt talk me into doing them with you :p :D ) has one I think?

Let me give him a call this weekend and see what he says. I cant see it being a problem.

cool... cheers mate. :thumbs: Should only need it for a few hours cuz i can just disconnect everything beforehand and the engine won't be going back in for quite a while.

Now i just need to talk you into helping me carry the engine from the car to the garage :D

I am gonna be pushed for time, what with my daughters 1st birthday and all. I can think of 2 other halves that would be less than impressed if we didnt turn up because of the dreaded SX :D

Nah no rush for it. Pauls turbo blew up so i'm gonna change it for him and i've still got the clutch on the golf to sort. I hoped the clutch would last till the end of the month but it was a major struggle getting up the hill at northowram today so i'm not too optimistic :smash:

Just occured to me... there's the Apex meet next weekend. Any chance i'd be able to borrow the crane for next Sunday morning. Should be able to drop it back off on the way over to Brens.
