fastest micra ?

Got a loan micra this morning, and had 96 mph on
the clock on the way into work - beats any micra I've
had the misfortune to drive previously. Does feel
quicker (ie, less sluggish) than others I've had.
Anyone clocked more that 96 ???
Its got an 'S' on the back - bigger engine ???

Yes saw a guy last year at billing with a super turbo, 150hp and good for 125 +

I think the 'S' means its got a 1.3 engine.

Yeah a 1.0 litre super charged and turbo charged March as they are known in Japan. Don't think they were released over here so must be fairly rare.

i once drove my ex-missus micra 1 ltr D-reg, back from wolverhampton going north on m6 and on a long downhill i got it way off the clock, reckon 105+, but ive never been so scared in my life driving a car, it was literaly bouncing from lane to lane, :eek: needless to say it was only for a few seconds (LOST MY BOTTLE), ive also had 110 on the clock out of a ka 1ltr on the a500 admit that it was also down a hill though:rolleyes:

i used to have a 1.3gx 3dr in viridian green with 5 spoke
jupiter alloys(i used to be a nissan sales manager you know!)
and got an indicated 116mph out of it and it was still pulling
but a sharpish bend came up and had to ease off,but it was
a great little demo and went realy well,was gutted when i sold
it and got an almera instead!

I was of the clock in my mini, but my m8 in a capri behind me said we were doin 125 on the clock :D
Very Very scary tho, I would'nt recommend it :D

Fastest Micra? I heard that there is an SR20DET'd one in Japan (some guy saw it on his hols)! Wonder if its a one off, or there is more? :eek:
