am i right in thinking that the next mascrat meet is on the 10th and not tomorrow?
getting a bit confuddled about it all :confused:
btw, i'll be at the next mascrat for a (most likely) one off meet peeps experience :D
Next Monday is the 13th ;) but yes it is then. I'll be there - in the Starion if it passes it's MOT this week, but if not in the 200 :thumbs:

what time do people normally get there for as i have to travel nearly 100 miles to get there?
I normally arrive at 8ish but people are there earlier than that. I'll make an effort to get there at around 7.30pm seeing as it's virtually dark @ 8.30pm at the moment.

You can actually get soem decent food at the pub if that helps to save you time. The landlord normally has a BBQ going outside :thumbs:

The words "decent food" and "landlord's... BBQ" Should never EVER appear in the same post. The bread is always really dry and crumbly. I still eat it though :no:

Lack of barbecue was unfortunate - tonight was the first Mascrat meet I've been to where I've not had tea before I left and had hoped to get a burger :annoyed:

No probs.
I had a minor crisis at 6pm, when my windscreen washer pump didn't.
A scramble under the car had hoses swapped so rear washer pump squirted at the windscreen, so the car was roadworthy to Mascrat.
Quick 'on the offchance' PM to Greg, and by 8.30 had a new pump in my hand :notworthy: Cheers, mate.

I had been at a business meeting in Northampton and came straight to Mascrat but I was 3 hours early, so I sort of called in to see my mate in Liverpool for a quick pint after work, but I got the taste and there were 'manly issues' to be discussed and so I stuck my car in the NCP and got sh*tfaced. Cursed booze.
On a positive note we ended up in a bar with 400 or so gorgeous 18 year-old girls on a freshers party night from Edge Hill college. Think its about 95% female that place. Anyway, it was like I'd died and found valhalla in an Aussie theme bar. Felt old tho!
