three horseshoes.

for your infor my sister has a pub now, so if anyone was interested in an expedition down to staindrop (nr bishop aukland) we'd be welcome there.
could probably get us a deal on discounted food and drink too if there was a good turnout. just an idea ....

lol car park is big enough to accomodate us lot, they have some great beers on for you non drivers, such as black sheep bitter, old speckled hen, boddingtons, stella if you fancy smacking the wife about, and the usual carling etc. The food is absolutely fantastic there, you'd struggle to find better pub food imo.
As they havent had it long they're keen to get some business obviously, so maybe we can do eachother a favour. how's about we have a mid month meet next month to test the water, i'll take care of all the arrangments, and as a gesture of faith i'll even let yer meet at my house and i'll lead the way down there for those who dont know where staindrop is lol.

The plus sides are that there are some absolutely stunnin barmaids to look at, as i've been in charge of hiring and firing lately, also my ex gf who used to model saucy undies may well be working there soon for me, and i guarentee if you dont like the look of her you're a truffle puncher.

duck dodgers - nope, sorry. she's 34 with 4 kids, and a brother who'll castrate you if you even think about it mate ;) :smash: :D

anyone fancy it then? if theres sufficient interest i'll put another thread up in the NE section about it, if nobody fancies it as its a bit far out the way for some ( but probably a bit closer for the middlesbrough lads as its not a million miles from the darlington turnoff of the A1M) there'll be no hard feelings.
just an idea chjaps - whaddya think then?

Sounding good Stu ................ reckon you've nailed the venue, going to be a pity me looking in the rear view mirror at Duck/Pulsar/Mint Boy/Dave etc etc Richie blah blah on the A689 lmao .............. Yeah, that’s a big ten-four there Ian s14. Yeah, we definitely got the
front door good buddy. Mercy sakes live, looks like we got us a
convoy

Ok couldent resist it, sounds cool tho, is it the sort of convoy where the last one there buys the drinks :-)

right spoke to my sister about this.
she said she'd sort us out with some discount if we wanted to go there, the car park can hold 80 cars, food will get a bigger discount than drinks but believe me the food is awesome there and the portions are huge.
ideally monday till friday are the best days to go down, as it gets busy on a weekend.
we're welcome to stay as long as we want and do as we please. it's not a huge pub, but it's pleanty big enough for us, and it's more cosy than the storybook which personally i dont like as theres no good beer there aside of wifebeater and the food is shite.
so, whats everyone's opinions? even if we try it once middle of the month to see what its like at least we can say we've tried. I know i'd prefer it to boldon and its no nearer to me than boldon is.

Iain, opinions? :)

We can try a mid week meet there, should we talk about it at the next meet to get it all sorted?
The Three Horse Shoes pub also knows that we will be there, and have no problem with that :)
