Idle map change

Hi Jez,

I sent you an e-mail about 2 weeks ago with regards to my car but got no response. Don't know if it disappeared into the ether or not?

Anyway the crux of it was that I have one of your chips but I don't know which as I bought the car with it.

Do you keep records of what you sell and to whom? I can supply previous owners names and reg plates etc.

Are you able to adjust the map on one of your chips? Mine seems to overfuel horrendously...

I dont think I got your email.

I do keep records of who I sell my chips to - if you send the me the original buyers name or address I'll be able to tell you what type of chip it is.

I can do custom maps, you'd have to come over and I can remap the chip for your specific car. What makes you think your car is overfuelling? If your car matches the spec for one of my chips then it should be OK.

Well the smell at idle is enough to let me know it's got unburnt fuel going through it. And the speed with which it blacken's the exhaust after cleaning it is another symptom.

(My mate who tuned his own big single Supra also concurred that it was overfueling - and he's had a lot of experience of that! lol)

I'll PM you with the previous guy's name. and a list of mods that I know of.

it shouldn't stink at idle - does sound like its running too rich - I've emailled you about the chip :)
