View Full Version : I just ran over a policeman!!!!

Driving through Kendal town centre today, police are directing traffic around a broken down motorhome, get waved through by plod so pootle through at about 5 mph when THUD , What the feck was that I ask myself, looks in the mirror and see pc plod rolling around on the road and hear a OOOHHH from all the people around (lunchtime very busy!)
Park up the 200 and go and see what happened, silly plod wasn't looking where he was walking and conveniently put his foot and ankle under my back wheel as I went past...ouch!
I go over and pick him up and he's in agony, ankle has swollen up to about twice its size and he's taken all the skin off his left elbow....hehehehe.
Once he regained the ability to speak he called himself an absolute plonker said he should have paid more attention.
Anyway about 6 more police arrived and they were trying to blame me!! the one I squashed told them all not to be silly and to leave me alone!
Had a bit of a moment when they had to breathalyse me, I was well trolley'd last night but everything was ok...phew!

Drove home laughing my tits off, in fact I am still giggling like a schoolgirl now :D

Serves them right for doing me for speeding (again)[

Hmmmm... like him 'cos he stuck up for you, and didn't do you for it, or be amused 'cos he reeks gently of bacon, and probably works on traffic patrol (coppers on the beat know to look both ways... :) )

Hmmmmm....been pulled by the police twice now since it happened, not laughing as much as I was :( once was in blackpool though so cannot possibly be connected (can it?) and just outside Kendal last night, "just a routine stop sir, do you mind emptying your pockets?"

I think id have had to screech away at the OOOHHH part (in non believing, i cant have just mowed the fuz down kinda way)
U did well to remain at the scene and u were lucky he didnt have the same attitude as his collegues or you`d be fecked.
