View Full Version : From what I've read (Piazza question)
would i be right in thinking that the Isuzu Piazza Turbo is not looked on favourably by the SXOC in general?
Is there anyone out there who likes them?

Too slow!! Don't know much about them, seem pretty rare
Lotus fettled the handling - IIRC they were about 150bhp and RWD

Here we go again [volvo 33 mode on] Isusu Pizza ( :D ) designed by Gugario(Kant SHpel), clever design, but IIRC the doors couldn't open in the original design  , the first ones handled like pigs, and a possible cheap deal for engines twisted Lotus's arms to play with the suspension, - without redesigning the whole car they made the best of what they had, so if you want a car that dosen't handle, is too heavy, built poorly  , electrics that are out of Buck Rogers and a problem with parts , you'll be at home.[volvo 33 mode off].
BTW I tried to buy one at auction a good few years ago,( whole car mot'ed + running!!) pulled out at £35.00. Eventually sold for £75.00!!!
a large amount of the component mechnical parts are Opel Manta.
They're heavy, slow, and difficult to get spares for...
Think there's a bloke on here that drifts one, I've always liked them and doesn't matter what the sxoc community thinks of them - just what you do :)
Dunc.

Btw - the original design was called 'Ace of Clubs' . Don't know how I remember these things - probably a mind full of crap.
