The resident 'expert' has just stated that he doesnt think much of the S13 as a sportscar because its a 1.8! He hasnt got a clue what it is, never mind thats its a turbo.

What an asshole, where the hell do they get these 'experts'???

We should lobby ITV to get rid of this idiot like BBC2 got rid of the fat bullsh1tter on Top Gear. Wonder if we could get his email address.....

still, on the plus side, next time someone in a nova says how your car might have a bigger 1.8 engine than his 1.1 but it's so heavy that you'd lose a race... just say 'ok prove it'...

I didn't see this 'programme' but all the 'hot' stuff nowadays (Civic VTR, RS Focus, Clit 182, etc.) are really quick because they are low-7s to mid-sixes and 140-150mph stuff.

S13 (standard) is 6.8 and 140+. Modify it and we all know what the CA18DET is capable of.
