View Full Version : Your Favourite Chav Car Stickers

Earlier I saw something LEGENDARY, an old Orion with the No Fear sticker with the angry eyes! And it made me think about old stickers chavs used to put on their Ex Arr Free Ayes. Now this is when cheesy stickers truly were cheesy stickers, here's my favourites then:
http://www.ontoppaintball.com/store/files/images/products/thumbs/8956.jpg
The legendary SPLAT sticker!! This one was brilliant, especially if it was bright yellow on a faded red Cavalier MK2. Nearly always put strategically at an angle on the side of the bonnet. A true comic joke! Everyone finds the splat sticker hilarious, for it is the best thing since sliced bread.
ON A MISSION
Now this one was spotted a few weeks back on a newer Fiesta, so it might be coming back in style. So prepare yourselves. On A Mission brought an air of action and excitement to the Sainsburys run in mum's hand-me-down Citroen AX.
http://ski-club.org.ru/updown/updown012/fido.jpg
Fido Dido! This cheeky chappy was inexplicably on LOADS of cars for some reason. I don't know why, but he was much-loved amongst the bronze MK1 Sierra crowd. Especially on the boot or something. Everyone loved Fido Dido! But now he's gone FOREVER.
Now I reckon the splat sticker is going to be hard to beat, because ultimately it has set itself such a legendary history, and is probably still available down at rubbish seasonal markets along with the ones of Calvin having a wee on a footie shirt. But go on, get thinking, it makes me all nostalgic thinking of all the cars that said INJECTION on them in huge fonts usually of the pretend handwritten kind. Pictures are especially welcome!
(N.B. I don't actually like crap car stickers I just think they were and still are really funny and it raises a smile thinking of some of the utter rubbish people used to stick on their cars because those Altezza effect brakelights and neon windscreen washer jets weren't invented yet)
I had one of those splat things on my Ex Arr Free Eye for a few weeks about fifteen years ago when I was young and stupid :D (now just older and stupid).
Never stooped to the crushed Garfield in the boot though. Now they were hilarious, because people thought you had slammed a cat in while closing the lid, and you actually hadn't. Classic. Thought they'd be around forever
Stick on bulletholes were also popular around that time. Oh the things you do, eh? (I didn't)
What did you have, SX? Come on, 'fess up :D

Still popular today with the true chav - the "Motorsport" sun strip
"On a mission" and "F.U.K" seem quite popular too.
For some bizarre reason some kid down the road has got a big graphic of tweetiepie or whatever its called, that bird thing in the rear window of his mk2 fiesta, as well as Blitz, Nitrous Express, Greddy etc on the doors PMSL :D
Don't forget Oakley and the subsequent 'Wan_ley - thermonuclear ejaculation' plus the 'comedy' fingers which make it look as though there is a small person trapped in the boot could make a comeback.
I had a splat on my first car, on my farm in south africa when I was about 6 :) Fiat thing.
Nice And Safe Attitude - NASA :ghey:
I have to say though, I have a soft spot for the :) you get, but not so for any ravers ID tag - the ganja leaf of power  :smash:
Best one I saw was 'My other car is a Ferrari"
Why?
Cos some nutter had on the back of his spanky new Ferrari :wack:

A midly kevved-up Corsa passed me ( :indiff: ) the other day and on the back windscreen was:
VAUXHALL
Plus the lion-bird badge thingy.
I mean, would you obsucure your rear view with that? :wack:
I like "ON A MISSION" on the windscreen and "MISSION COMPLETED" on the rear... very tastefull...
I also enjoy watching the nova boys scoffing at the "KENWOOD" sticker in the back of the fiesta while they drive around with a "ALPINE" sticker on their shopping trolley... Also pleases me greatly to see fire extinquishers in car with "NOS" stickers on 'em :D

Oh yeah!!
I totally forgot, my mate's parents used to have on their caravan "If this van's rockin, don't come knocking!"
Also what happened to Garfield with suction cups! And those fake fingers you'd put on your boot lid edge to make it look like someone's stuck in your boot with it slammed on their fingers!
I had 'ON A MISSION' in the back of my first manta, it was a couple of months before i took it out.
another classic
'PASSION GRACE AND SERIOUS BASS'
Has anyone mentioned "Novadose"?
There's a yellow (handpainted with a brush) Nova doing the rounds here, with "My Other Toy Has T*ts" written on the back window in Comic Sans.
...a nice touch of class.

Anyone remember:
Fat Willys Surf Shack? 80s thing maybe?
and...
"Nissan" "Ford" or what ever make in a stripey/horizontally broken font along the rear screen? Again, an 80s thing perhaps?
Round here the classics are
www.justcruizin.co.uk
www.cruiseeast.co.uk (or something crap like that)
KENWOOD
PIONEER
and my fave is the 100nx down the road, with silly FnF stickers and a TRD* sticker on the passenger door.... total class :)

There's an old 70's Austin i see around. I can't remember what they're called, before my time see. Might be a 1500 or something, renowned rustbuckets?
Anyway. it's an ugly old standard banger with a nice big ON A MISSION sticker across the back bindow. Looks funny, and I suspect the owner knows it.
Novataken, haha.
MK4 escort convertibles with that lovely "Cabriolet" in scrpit style writing along the bottom of the doors. class
I used to have "Bye Bye GTi" on the rear screen of my Lotus Sunbean many years ago just to wind my mates up with Golfs and Pugs

There lives a Focus at Ford's Dunton engineering centre in Basildon, who's owner proudly parks for all to see his crappy 2.0L with tints and big alloys.
In the sticker area he has lots of :ghey: tribal stickers on it and the mutherload is his collection of tuning stickers including a TRD one.
So what exactly on it is made by TRD then? I doubt even the sticker was :D
He also sports a ffoc.co.uk sticker, might be worth posting a link to there forum for a laugh  :wack:
surely those tribal things will go down in history as super chav

An SX round these parts has a sun strip with "Total SX Appeal" on it. Makes me smile, but generally think tha tsun strips are :hurl:
I used to have a sticker saying :-
"Don't laugh your daughter might be inside"
however I stuck it on the headboard of my bed much to my mother's annoyance :wack: ;)

 Defo. I was in the 200 the other week when I pulled into a drivethru McD's and saw a little ***** sitting in the car park. He was sitting in his Saxo VTS with Blitz/Greddy/HKS etc. stickers on the door so I pulled up next to him and said 'what bits have you got mate?' ( :D ) He said 'what?' so I repeated the question. His answer? 'Oh, errr, nothing mate, they're just stickers' :ghey: :whip: I and my mate both ROFL in his face. He looked unimpressed. I left (with a big dump) :D
