We got a new van last week, and I'm driving it as the new recruit..... blooming hell it's got some poke.

The stuff we carry at NTL is really bulky, but doesn't weigh really anything so it's practically unladen all the time.... the looks on peoples faces as this white van flies past them is priceless.

I realise now I am hated amongst all of you, but I have respect... never ye fear, and the back end does step out :o ;)

best one i ever drove was one of the citroens. turbo kicked in about about 1500 rpm and it wheel span in all gears :D

I used to drive a transit at my last place of employment. Worked at a plumbers merchant, was carrying lead rolls, 112kg each, went into a bend a little to enthusiastically, they broke the thin rope I had used to secure them, flew across the back and punched a hole in the side of the van, through the wood panelling. Oops. Be gratefull NTL stuff doesn't weigh much!

I have only ever had two people ever get road rage with me so badly they wanted to ram me..( one tried :confused: ) Both were white van drivers who objected to me using the outside lane on a dual carraige way to over take at a only a shocking 75mph... Obviously I didnt take to kindly to almost being rammed and was a total B**CH, for about 6 miles.. not clever really.

The first one actually tried to side swipe me as I came off the slip road.. luckily for me my car had a turn of speed that wasn't expected. ( This was in one of my previous metros not the SX)

White van drivers arent all bad.. I live with one. :thumbs:
