I nearly got killed by a postie in a transit on Friday!!!! I was driving down my road at about 35mph. I was about to turn into my drive so I look in my mirror (see van about 100yards back) start to indicate and slow down, then just as I'm about to turn right the postie dives into the wrong side of the road and flies past me at about 45-50 to get to the post box on that side of the road directly outside my house!!!!! Would have killed me cause I was in my clio and didn't even see me. Needless to say a huge argument ensued. I told if I ever saw him again I'd kill him cause he wouldn't apologise or even admit it was his fault, he said he thought I was turning right at the end of the road. Of course he did, eveyone who wants to turn right at the end of the road stops 40 metres before the junction with their indicator on, PRAT! That was the other day, I've seen him pretty much every day since then and all he does ispretend I'm not there and looks nervously at the floor. Diagram for ease of understanding. What do you think? Am I being overly harsh to him, I don't think so. It was the fact that he was basically calling me a bad driver that got my back up when it was clearly his fault :furious: :rant: :furious:
