does anyone know of any appropriate drifting type venues available in the cumbria /west lancashire region?

we certainly cant afford to get in to drifting at the mo but we would both (me and the mrs) like to know how to initiate and control a drift

since i started driving rwd cars i have always shown them respect when pushing round corners (apart from one costly misadventure just after getting my 13) but would like to know more

this in no way has anything to do with having just watched the first 4 episodes of initial D stage 4, none at all, honest, none, well.. maybe a little, ok you got me

i wanna go

What about Flookburgh / Cark airfield?

they used to have rallys there all the time, residents are bitchy about noise though

i was thinking of enquiring about the use of flookburgh airfield (used to live in flookburgh with the in-laws) or walney airfield

dont know if either have much more than a runway tho, anything worth using for drifting

a runway should be fine. That was all we had a couple of years back at Turweston.

put some gravel tyres on and get into grizedale forrest.
i killed a mk2 escort in there a few years back.the trees focus the mind or smash the car :)
