Anyone rather good with Excel?

Ok, I've got a table with 2800 values ( holding a waveform sampled from a motor.) Anyone know how I can condense this into a smaller table of 2048 values - essentially scaling it down and losing 752 values (but keeping the waveform shape intact).

Can't you do it as a pivot table or do you specifically need the 2048 values?
