Latest rubbish is that some bloke employed by the council is going to have legal powers to pull you over ,and impound your vehicle if your front windows are illegally tinted,in his opinion. So you may have a legal tint , SVA, etc but these guys can put you off the road and make you walk home with a subjective "in my opinion" Of course that then gives them oppertunity to find fault with any other modification you might have . What the hell is happening to this country , isn't it about time we got together and formed our own pressure group along the lines of MAG and the BMF (motorcycle action group & the British motorcycle federation) or SEMA in the states , to lobby the goverment on behalf of custom/modded car enthusiasts. If we dont do something soon we wont have any right to do anything. what with the post on DVLA and the snaeky anti modding camapign, the anti speed camera detector ban, and all the other things that are coming to a head , We need to ACT and NOW before its too late and we get legislated off the road in favour of mini mpv's smart cars and electric busses.
