Quad Bikes

Need a quadbike, primarily as a means of transport through woods/fields etc but it would also be nice to have a bit of fun on it from time to time. Trouble is I knwo absolutely nothing about them so need advice on makes, types, dealers etc.

Whats wrong with a mountain bike? Get you fit as well!

Quad bikes = fun for a while, then a pain in the arse - loads of em second hand.

Also - renowned destroyer of people too - Ozzy :( Adrian Edmondson, etc etc etc.

Get fit on a mountain bike - and its more environmentally friendly too. AND its cheaper. AND nearly as quick (if you are fit!).

All the Man V Horse V Bike things these days are won by Full Sus XC mountain bikes.

If your more of an erosion warrior, then go for a (sigh) yamaha. I hear good things about the reliability from my mate who has acces to one on his folks estate in Scotland.
