Favourite finish

I seemed to have started a bit of a debate on the 'was it you?' over different colours on the s13, so this got me thinking.... What's everyones favourite 200sx colour? Against my better judgement, for the s13 mine is that metallic champagne colour (don't know how else to describe it). As far as the s14 goes, I really like that lavender colour on the pre-facelift model. If I had the option of a respray in any colour at all though, I'd go for yellow.

I think the best colour for the S13 has to be red (not biased at all!), Other than that, I think dark colours like Black or metallic Charcoal.
Saw a newish S14 the other day in Red, and it looked mint, also like the wine colour like Papa Lazarou's and BeanS14.
Dont like white cars though (sorry Dave).
Favorite paint colour has to be that Du-pont Chromaflair stuff - You might have seen it on the TVR Tuscan on Top Gear. Its a Green/Purple flip colour, so your car changes colour as you drive past!!! Wouldnt suggest a respray in it though, cos it costs approx £200 per litre.

For the S14 apart from emerald (bias here), then the purple/wine colour looks great.

For the S13, red seems to suit it very well.

For the S13 think silver would look nice, especially if it was really nicely polished.

I'm thinking S14's look better in dark colours. I saw one in a sort of creamy off white colour when I was looking around dealers for 200's and it looked a bit minging. Wine red looks good if I do say so myself, I also like the dark metallic purple colour too.

Mine's a graphite grey S13 but I'd like to get it resprayed midnight blue. That would be my favourite colour. mmmm... how much is a full respray these days (with anti-rust treatment?)

Black is the best colour for the 200, red is a close second I think. Nat, metallic green is actually quite nice as well - suprisingly, I saw on the old day being driven by a 50 year old women. It s weird but most 200's round my way are driven by old grannies or grandads. Very strange.

i've got a silver one which has a blue flip to it, it's described as blue on the registration document but becomes jet silver by night, wasn't sure about it at the beginning but it does really show off the lines and no-one misses the car...

Thought black was good, Stuymac's red is cool, the graphite gey is menacing, and royal blue colour (Steve carter?? - is that urs with the HKS FMIC??) in my opinion is the best....

At the end of the day its like this tho, i wouldn't buy a car based on colour, the car is an S13 200sx, thats what i bought it for and colour is very incidental, pretty much a luxury and if u like it then cool...

Yeah I agree, I dunno why Nissan just didn't do a pure white instead of yellowy white. Bummer. I may look into getting it resprayed at some point......
