1) Becasue the works network was slow putting my last bid in .. in the last 10 secs
2) Dont know .. I just sit here and wait for the last 30secs myself.

just go on the www.gtr.co.uk forum and buy one in good condition. Iv'e bought 2 off there at around £120 each in good nick.

A bit hit and miss. www.auctionstealer.co.uk gives you 3 free auctions a week and the system will auto-bid in the last few seconds so you can snipe. You don't have to be logged on and you won't get carried away in a bidding fever.

Of course, some people think sniping is evil :rant:

Next time use an Ebay sniping program and run it in the background. It will play all your bids for you just before the auction closes so you never miss out.
