Hi guys,

I've got a big scratch down my passenger door where some little scrote has keyed it...

...i've been offered something called "Farecla Scratch Repair Kit", looks like a cutting compound, drill mounted polishing pad and some clear coat, you use a colour matched touch up stick as well.

Bearing in mind that i'm normally rubbish with paint and stuff, do you think it's possible for me to get a decent repair, or am I going to make things worse?

Anyone ever heard of this stuff/tried anything similar? Thought it'd be cheaper than calling out chipsaway, and i could do all my stonechips too.

I used some turtlewax stuff on my BMW over the weekend. It had a lipstick tube of stuff and then you wax (color coded) over the top. Worked well, it was really good wax, and the scratches are harder to notice.

How bad is the scratch? If it's not deep you might get it out with a bit ot t-cut.

Totally agree, the color wax stuff is pretty top notch
