:) I was a little worried about tyres this weekend, but I've just upped my stock a little :)
http://www.philmorrison.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/tyres.jpg
thats 4x 225/40/18's, 2x 235/40/18's, 8x 225/45/17's, and a whole load of tyres that are to big for me to use .. I am hoping that 12 tyres is enough for this weekend though, I'm hoping to get through the day at silverstone on 4 rear tyres and still be able to drive home on 2 of them, then use the rest on Sunday at Bwheels... The surface is f*cking awfull, if your driving be prepared for massive massive chunking..

Wow! You've got more spare tyres than Steve and Matt put together (and I don't mean that you're all fat bastards!)...
Phil, what do you do about the destroyed tyres and where do you get your tyres fitted?
Most places I go to whinge when I ask them to fit part worns. Oh, and where do you get your supply of tyres from?? ;) I'm guessing with THAT many tyres that you get them at bargain prices.
Mmmm, P6000s, they're nice dry weather tyres. Very drifty drifty.

Sadly, ive actually bought a shed... Yes, at my age... A shed for such purposes... Im fed up my old fella moaning at me for having bits of AE86's lying around, plus the dumb ****ing decorator/builder guy got some white water/powder plaster sticky shit all over a spare Trueno bonnet. So i have a drift shed on its way.. :indiff: :wack:

Ben: I'm thinking it's a little excessive if I've got more than steve :D
Astonman: I get most of them from Lodge, they ain't that cheap, but they do a fantastic job of telling rich bmw owners they need to change all their tyres when they've still got 6mm tread :wack:
Paz I've thought about that mysef :indiff:
Lee: do you need 17's? I don't think I've got much wide stuff in 17, I think I've got 4 265/35/18's if they're any use?

If you don't want the 265s I could probably make use of them :)

Don't forget that the discs and pads look like they need changing too, which they noticed while changing the tyres. I had a place try that on me while changing some tyres over for a few quid, funny thing is, I'd replaced the discs and pads about a month earlier... errr
I pay £25 a tyre for decent part worns fitted and balanced (tyreworld), and all those look excellent. Those aren't for drifting mind you, I just find it slightly ridiculous how much you pay for new tyres VS decent part worns.
Actualy on the tyre note will there bit a company changing tyres at the drift day as i need some swapping arround on mine.

Oh no he hasnt.:D
I've got 16 15"wheels all with tyres on, 14 more spare 15" tyres, 4 17"s for my road wheels and one 18" for Mr Morrison.:D
I'll probably kill off 10 of them this week.:)

I've got 20 of the pesky things.....
6 spec rally tyres
4 14" standards
4 13" super slidys
2 13" super stickies
4 15" super stickies that are down to 1mm
oh and 4 17"'s too but they make it handle terribly
I have 8 ready for Wednesday and another 10 ready to go on the rims. Thats 16s. Then I have 3 17" tyres and another 2 on the "spare" GTR wheels, plus my "daily" 17" GTR wheels with tyres on obviously... Oh and a couple of dodgy sized 16s (195 and a 215) - but I have quite a few pairs which is nice :) Picked up most of em for nowt;)
can i take it there will be some extreme tyre destruction this weekend?
rolling burnouts passed the stands?
"accidental" spins that become donuts?
I NEED to know, (for purely photographic reasons ;) )
I will no doubt do a few donuts... followed by coffee with sugar :) OH! You mean on the track! Err, yeah, probably - all in the name of good film obviously:rolleyes: Every donut you see me do will be done deliberately
