Maybe they are having a bigger first cut, instead of just to 8? That would be good :)

14.00 - club comp

 More practice time. Hopefully I'll make all of it this time without the car catching fire.
I'm bringing overalls though, just in case.

Same here. Im hoping my car wont fail again the night before and i stupidly drive down to silverstone anyway, to wait for Option to open at 10:30 the next day. Get it fixed, get back to the track by 11:30 ish, get 4 laps in and then have it fail again.. The AA wouldnt take me home either, got in at 3am. Mat got in at 5am! Ahahaha, drifting is ace :)

9.00 practice. does that mean at 9.00 there will be cars on track practicing, or that's when registration, drivers briefing etc takes place?
doesn't matter for me, i'll be there at 9 anyway :D

OMFG! I don't believe it.
It looks as though I'm going to have to miss Round 3
:censored: :annoyed:
My MR2 has an alternator out. I have a replacement, but I just looked at it and there is no way that my gimp knowledge will be able to do the replacement myself. Worse still, I can't afford the local garage to replace it for me.
Anyone in West Sussex fancy giving me a hand???? :Plug:

didnt they put the driver briefing to 8.30 purely so that people could actually get out on track for 9am sharp? or did i dream that?! think actual practice starts at 9 and there may be late sign in for those who turn up after? needs checking tho i think...

Correct timetable is the one on the UKD1 forum:
9:00 - 12:00 Practice session Passenger allowed at this time (£20 with a friend driving) or passenger rides available with Kiki ( £5- sign up at ticket entrance)
12:00 - 13:00 Lunch break Food and drink available in the Paddock Diner

16:30 - 17:00 Trophies awarded As well as prizes from our sponsors including HKS vouchers, 76 racing fuel, Playstation 2 and Avon tyres
The Pro competition is two hours long so they can have more cuts- do it the Japanese way.

Almost tempting to go pro if more people are going to be let through the cuts.
Probably wont make any difference to me :wack:

Hey Rob
I'll do the alternator for ya mate if I've got some spare time and can combine the visit with a trip to Bridges on a scrapyard pikeying session...
Very busy at the moment though. Whilst awaiting rear axle parts for the 'Rolla, I have indulged in a £100 crashed E30 325i which is taking a fair while to straighten out (avec tree, tow poles, rope and a big Volvo). I'm trying to get this done before Saturday so I can run in a true low budget drift-shitter production....
Ho-ho-ho niiiiice!!
Crashed 325i, me likey. As long as the chassis isn't actually twisted?!?!
I want a go!! I drove a 325i the other day, wicked little cars.
Should be more practice time rather than 2 hours for the pro comp, IMHO
