Well, towballs to be honest but I want everyones attention not just Leons ;) :p

As I was laying under the 14 fitting my pineapples last week what did I find? You guessed it, the car has had a towbar fitted in the past. I have the fitting kit and the electrics, but the ball itself is missing.

I have just spoken to a local apecialist and he says they wrent supposed to sell them seperately (unless they can tell what make it is) as they are not allowed to sell them without type approval!

Just asking in case anyone knows where I can get one "on the side"... :thumbs:

I'll have a measure up tonight and maybe draw a little diagram of the "flange" the :thumbs: ball bolts up to.

Well, 2BL, you're nearest... Seeing North Weald has a babit of chewing up the rubber quicker than an elastic band factory, the idea is to fill a trailor up with wheels (for me and Steve if I have room) and then I wont have the fear of running out... Last time Steve went up there he rang me at 11am to ask if I could bring a couple more wheels when I came as he was running out!!! He ended up doing 7 tyres that day - and that was just the rear!
And it may also come inhandy for Billing if I get it sorted in time...;)

Oh and those last minute weekends away when I fancy popping up to the local Caravan Club meets when there's no SX meets :wack:
