Castle info anyone

We are looking for a Castle for our Wedding in June 05 / 06.

Firstly we were going to have this in Scotland but with all our family and friends in / from England and ourselves orignating from England we decided to go back to where our roots are to get married.

Can anyone recommend or know venues that will do this ?

I've had a quick search online but most seem mainly south england. We would need it near Cheshire / Stoke / Scouse Land area

Does it have to be a castle? Would a stately home not do?

You could try Shugborough hall, close to Stoke.
