i would love to get back into this but got sick of not having a good keyboard setup

i've got back into it as i found a fairly usable keyboard setup, plus i worked out how to get rid of the silly lag i got when using the keys :) i'm about 2-2.5 secs a lap slower at blackwood than i was before, but its the best i've been since that notorious patch.

We've been playing it loads from the chatroom. Any quakenet server, room is #sxoc.

Been doing some drifting, Pazza is amazing, he can drift the entire circuit without going in a straight line :wack:

What sort of laptimes are you getting on blackwood with the GTI and GT non-turbo?

We only do blackwood because Yakko, Jenks and Kitty are too cheap to buy the full thing :rolleyes:

My best is 1:40.something with the GT, 1:41.something with the GTI and I haven't tried with the GTT, it's too hard on keys :( Could probabl get quicker with both but I run out of gears and always forget to change them :rolleyes:

I'm still using your setups Yeager, but modified by me :D

hmmm i appear to have perfected the art of spinning in every lap again :rolleyes: least i managed 1 clean race out of about 20 at the end tho :wack:

i never use the gti or GT, my pb on BL1 on this patch with keys with the GT Turbo is around the mid 1.31's, although i was mainly hitting low 1.32's tonight. managed low 1.29's about this time last year before i bought S1 :wack:

DS - i've zipped the settings i use and uploaded them, yeager tried them and i don't think he was too keen tho.
