Of course I'm talking about the Fast Car competition: The results were posted on the FC website a short while ago.

Quote:

So who have you been voting for in our readers' rides gallery? Here's the top ten of how you rated the chariots...

1) PureSX Nissan 200SX
2) Marc Hedges' Cinquecento Sporting
3) Ben Waite's Rover 420 Gsi
4) Tanya Jellett's Metro GTi
5) Deadmetal's Hornet
6) VW Man's Golf Mk1
7) Gareth Long's Volvo S70
8) Rich's Golf
9) Doug's Supra
10) Turbo 2's Toyota MR2

Congratulations to PureSX - the Nissan won this month's competition by a landslide.
Keep voting and look out for December's league table of chariot heaven *

*When Pete gets his lazy ass round to doing it.

Like I said, Cheers everyone. It doesn't stop there though, keep voting please as the competition continues next month too. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

I haven't actually won anything yet http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif, so please keep voting.

Ant, are you not coming to the Dec 20th meet then?

amd, I know that list is intimidating isn't it....The others did have a 2 week headstart though, so I was playing some serious catch up.

I bet you were worried by the Metro in 4th!!! I had a Rover 420Gsi, and it broke for a living, mostly the electrics, but it was quick enough - 0-60 in 7.something. Who am I trying to kid, it was ****!

LOL @ JackaL

There has been some winging on the FC board over the voting and the site admin have added this comment:

The results were quite interesting, I must admit. They were, however, completely as they came in. I didn't allow multiple votes, so this is really how it was. The scores from second to tenth were only set apart by about 20 votes, but the Nissan scored about three times as many votes as anyone else.

I still don't know what I win..... http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

It's fun though.

They're just upset because their Metro's aren't as nice as a 200! I know my Rover was nowhere near as nice as my 200 is, but it was better than my Nova SR!

Hmm, how'd you manage a 6.4 second 0-60, I managed a 6.7 0-100kph at Southend, in an empty road near Maccy D's the night of the cruise, but couldn't stop my rear wheels spinning and had to keep backing off. All I have is a zorst and filter.

JackaL, with TC mate. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif You should be able to do it too, as your wheels are slightly smaller, you'll get slightly quicker acceleration.
