View Full Version : New Spurs Manager
I know there are a few here that punish themselves by following spurs ;) what are the views on Santini being appointed coach
He should have quite an influence on attracting some talent to WHL hopefully andf he is a much higher profile manager than i thought we would end up with. Needs at least 3 years though to get things in shape though, just hope he is given the time.

I'm quietly hopeful. I think that, given the time, he may be able to do something about the incredibly negative football we've been playing for the last couple of seasons. Maybe, just maybe, we could be chasing a European spot in 05/06...
Why do I punish myself like this...

Hes a superb manager with a history as long as ur arm. A bit disapointed that Edgar Davids isnt coming though, Santini said he wanted him. It can only get better cant it? At least Ledly got a run in the england side and did pretty well. And didnt u just KNOW that Postiga was gonna score against us.

Arsenal fans were saying a similar thing not that long ago mate ;)
I think Spurs have needed a high profile manager for ages. Think of all of the World Class players that have been linked with Spurs but not turned up - its not like we havent got the money either
I know hes a good tactician, but if he can motivate the current squad, get all of the http://jaymz.sytes.net/mike/php/images/smiles/jerkoff.gif Pleat http://jaymz.sytes.net/mike/php/images/smiles/jerkoff.gif out of it and strengthen it up a bit (Davids would have been perfect :( ) I see no reason why we cant be looking at Europe.
Having said that, I wouldnt be surprised in the slightest if we just blew it out our arse and he was fired before the end of the season
Have you heard Hoddle is going for the French manager job now as well??
No, there isnt a punchline :D :D :D
Having said that
At last a decent manager
Hopefully things are now looking up for us spurs fans :)
Would be nice to get somewhere higher in the league this year
I think he'll do a good job at Spurs, not many Club sides manage to secure the services of a successful national coach
dubious to be honest. Better attempt than in recent years mind you (remember when Christian Gross first turned up? :wack: )
You just know he'll fall flat on his face though - the same as many others have :( Can't see him changing the team from a "nearly" side
(remember when Christian Gross first turned up? :wack: )
I remember his first home game in charge 1-6 to the mighty Chelsea :)
I remember his first home game formation 1-3-6 at the mighty Chelsea :)
Thats about right
