Had a virus on my computer, don't know how..........

IT said something about 32w.skybot or something along those lines.

DId a system restore, will this solve the problem??

nope :)

lots of viri like to copy themselves into there and re infect themselves :) drop into safe mode, turn off system resore, remove virus restart pc, all should be good...

Don't understand, computer nOOb.

It has gone away, i think the problem was that i was not running any passwords.

Seems to be workign fine now.

So how do i do this removel? safe mode?? how do you do that on XP pro?
