NHRPA - Most Pointless Racing?

Gah, here I am watching Sky Sports' World Motor Sport waiting for some rally action and they currently have this national NHRPA whatever stuff on. A load of hatchbacks of various shapes all hacked up with nice big rollcages and stripped interiors.. GOING AROUND A TRACK WITH RIGHT TURNS ONLY. It's like Nascar but slower, and shorter, and much more ghey. What the hell is this! They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Here is my picture for this form of racing:

i have to say i like oval racing i agree some of it is not that fast but that is reflected in the cost of it.most of us would like to race big circuits in proper race cars but we could never afford it.i race f2 stockcars its not the fastest sport but when you are on the track it feels like it.its a big buzz doing 60 mph down the straight with someone giving you a shove when you get to the corner.oval racing is good fun and affordable so leave us alone or better still borrow a car and give it a go you might be surprissed.sorry for the rant and the bad spelling i have a hangover
